A pleasant 5k run/walk along the scenic Blanco River just 45 minutes from both San Antonio and Austin on Hwy 281 in the beautiful Hill Country community of Blanco Texas. This annual run supports Project Graduation, an event that offers a safe, alcohol and drug-free lock-in for graduating seniors of Blanco High School.
Blanco River Run, in it's 8th year, is for beginners and intermediate runners. This easy course, with only one moderate hill follows the river along a tree-covered course in Blanco State Park. A concurrent walk for children, adults and seniors is also available. Medals for first through third place in multiple categories will be given
